After finishing move I didn’t work on any piece for a time that feels like months – which it was, but not that many… It was cold in the workshop and not so inviting. And then the ‘monsters’ arrived. I didn’t have the frame of mind to start on them but I still wanted to do something. So I started building some more pedestals for the finished sculptures. And stopped again when it came to the part that needed concentration and precision. Not in the frame of mind for that either.
Finally, when the weather got warmer, I started on finishing croc. That worked. Stop thinking and just follow instinct. What a relief! Its all there already. I just have to finish it.
